Red Hawk

La Universidad de Princeton ha nombrado a Red Hawk como Hodder Fellow, título otorgado anualmente a artistas de excepcional talento tanto escritores como no literatos, y actualmente enseña en la Universidad de Arkansas en Monticello. Ha escrito Journey of the Medicine Man (August House); The Sioux Dog Dance (Cleveland State University); The Way of Power (Hohm Press, 1996); The Art of Dying (Hohm Press, 1999) y Wreckage with a Beating Heart (Hohm Press, 2005). También ha publicado en revistas como The Atlantic, Poetry y Kenyon Review (http://Review.Red). Red Hawk ha impartido conferencias con Allen Ginsberg (1994), Rita Dove (1995), Miller Williams (1996), Tess Gallagher (1996), y Coleman Barks (2005), y ha dado más de setenta lecturas en Estados Unidos.
Red Hawk ha estudiado y recibido instrucciones de dos maestros espirituales: Osho Rajneesh y Lee Lozowick, y ha practicado durante trenta y cuatro años en la Gurdjieff Society of Arkansas.
